As above,
Classes are usually 'Open sights', 'Red dots' and 'Scoped', well as peep sights are non of these, what are they classed as?
Cheers

Hi Nige,
Not that it matters in the great scheme of things but at my club, when we have a Springer comp they are classed as open sights.
This may or may not help.

Ray.
i would have thought they would be...
They were classed as open in our club comp, and very effective they were too, especially in the hands of our youngest member Elliot who beat me in the shoot off for second place
Thanks for that lads....
Now I can alter the competition rules to allow them in the open class
I've got some you see.....
They do'nt magnify or have an electronic aiming dot so they must be classed as open sights, in my opinion.
Exactly the same rules as my club.Originally Posted by Rockhopper

Where can I get a diopter peep sight to fit 11mm dovetail?

* Bay, dozens of them, presumably Chinese, which may not sit centrally on the cylinder. I have a Gamo diopter bought on this forum and good quality.
Weihrauch and various other German makes also available..at a price!
Problem is getting a decent foresight, since in my experience, if you cannot get a matching "tunnel" foresight and inserts, you are just as well off with normal "iron sights". The iron sights on my BSA Superstar are excellent.
Just seen on *bay, rear iron sights fitting 11mm dovetail, again, fine if you already have a front sight. Suppose one of the engineering wizzes on this sight could make up a detachable front sight for a pcp so that the diopter could be mounted on the rear of the gun? Would certainly help to have a pcp in "iron sight" competitions!
