Results - Pistol Hunter LV Saturday 3th June

Well it feels like a lifetime ago since the sun come out and graced us for a competition but it more than made up for it today, and this was shown by what seemed like an upturn in attendance.

The first round of the summer/autumn season was also the first day of the new rules, no prone, no kneeling, standing shots only, but despite this the scores were still very respectable.

Also a special mention to our visitor today, Sean Cameron who gained 1st place in the red dot catergory with what I believe was a new pistol for him.... obviously suits him .

Firstly I would like to thank everyone at Lea Valley for making me feel so welcome today,

Thanks to Mike Isaac for taking me around with him.

A special thank you has to go to Jonathan without whom I wouldn't have even done the competition.

It's true that I got the gun last week, but what a gun !

    Hi Nige,
A variety of guns are used, to list a few we have the HW45's, quiet a few Falcons, some Rohm Tops, a few Brococks, an FWB, Hamerilli, and personally I used a tweaked Crossman 2240.

So quiet a broad spectrum, some more powerful, others more accurate.

I would say come and have a look some time but just seen where you live....... nice weather??
