Red face PCPs - buddy bottle on or off?

A couple of people I've spoken to recently say they leave their rifle charged all the time and only take the buddy bottle off when it needs to be recharged.

I can see the sense in this - less hassle, no wasted air, no extra wear and tear on the O-ring taking it on and off.

But the official line from Logun for my S-16 is to remove the bottle after every shoot. This is not just a safety thing, but to protect the internal seals.

    Who's right?

The first option is attractive, as long as the rifle is treated as if it's loaded at all times, but option 2 sounds sensible from the internal seals point of view.

    TIA

Loguns yes take off the bottle, the internals start to leak,I had an s16 and every couple of months back to loguns for a repair job,but the two rapids I have ben always says leave the bottle on as to keep pressure on the seals, its go to leave them puffed up but the logan seals are no where near as good as the theoben ones.
