I've had a debate with a couple of shooters about putting our rifles away after a hunt, one says you should have the bolt cocked so that the probe is inside the barrel and at the same time pull the trigger so there's no air to blast out or what I do is pull the bolt back in the lock position and the trigger guard on,the other way you wont need to put the safety on cause there's nothing there.I just want to know who's right or is there a right way,ben told me to always pull the bolt back but a lot of guys have the bolt pushed down, any comments please, the rifle is the rapid mk2.
