    Question JSR 6-24X50??? Any Good?

Hi all, as above has any one got one? are they good value for the money?
As i am very tempted to get one
Any faults? and would it be suitable to put onto my S200 for bunny bashing?

Excellent budget scope. One of the best for the cash. Perhaps a bit big for general hunting, though no reason why it can't be used.

    Oh yes.......
    Bought mine of Perry190
    Very pleased with it.
Provided you can get used to the front parallax!
Whilst jugglig that and a heavy springer, things can get a bit wobbly.
    Otherwise..spot on.
Much better than the 3x9x40 I had before.
Illuminated reticule, gives me a bit of extra time as it starts to get dark.
    Turrets nice and adjustable.

What else do you want to know?

OK would this gun be able to with stand the rigers of hunting, i have a AGS 3-9x40 on at the minute and it aint bad really, just that the fixed parrlex can be anoying, but saying that its nothing that bothers me too much, do you all think that i'd be best putting it on my brocock hunter? and what is an ideal mag for hunting use?

The only weak point of the S200 is the cocking pin. It'll snap when it pleases whether you hunt or target shoot so use it as you see fit. I prefer 6-8 mag for general use.

Got one on my lads S400.
    It's helped kill many bunnies.
Some of them can have a very stiff PA, this is sorted by use of a fishing coaster.

I like mine i get on well with it great scope for the money when i was in the market i compared them to comparable scopes and the jsr is just as good if not better than scopes costing twice as much

    JSR 6x24x50

Yep, concur with most of the above. Had mine for about 6 months and it seems robust and good value for money. Parallax adjustment soon loosens up. Tend to leave it on 10x for hunting and only increase the mag for zeroing the thing in. (hmm... wonder if the POI noticeably shifts when I change mag...must check that....anybody know ?)

We have not one but TWO of these scopes on offer in our Charity Shoot Score Card Draw (which anyone can win). Very kindly donated by JSRamsbottom. You just have to be there to stand a chance of winning one. Draw prizes.

Ive just had a quick look through them and yes they are good clear optics IMO and good value for money. Personally, I think they are too big for use on a S200.

Just for info, I bought one of the mil dot JSR 3-9*50 fixed parallax(set at 35yd) for £27.95 bank holiday special- purely because I was interested what that got you(and I'm a tight git). The blurb with them appears to say the mil dots are true - at first glance they look quite widely spaced (AGS style) but I haven't had time to check properly. Apart from that first impressions are very good - bargain! Don't know how they would react to a springer though.
