god that was cheap there £60=£70 down here and thats the standard ones

hi there is a small tackel shop that also sells the odd gun (cometa)and sometimes, the odd secondhand one, but the best shop around here is in stafford, they sell shotguns and air rifles new and secondhand thats 11mile from where i am the shop is called (george bates) so nothing to right home about. graham

Although Meteors are good guns, there are so many of them about that they just don't command the prices they deserve. As has been said above, I would also expect to pay about £40 - having said that, I normally get them at the boot sale for about £20.
If you can provide some more info, such as condition and the first two letters of the serial number, it would help us be more specific!

no way i have one of them meteor mk 1s my self got it about 6 years ago for £25 first air rifle i ever got i thought it was worth less tnx to u i no its not tnx mate
