Webley Auction at Wallis and Wallis Yesterday!

I have never seen so many gorgeous guns that I want! I met up with Paddy_SP (who had his eye on lots of nice things), and I was hoping to buy a nice webley air pistol. Unfortunately so did everyone else and one nice senior sold for £670! I had to leave the auction early for work so Paddy very kindly bidded on a lovely .22 walnut tracker which I got for £130 which I think is a bargain!
There were some bargains to be had. A nice webley spectre went for £170 and most of the break barrel vulcans etc went for £70-95. Just wish I could have stayed for the pistol auction! If anyone else went what did you buy?

I wish you hadn't told me that! I thought I wouldn't bother as everything would go for silly prices. Please don't tell me any more, thanks very much.

There were two pistols for sale on the AirgunForum at 10.00pm last night.

    Looking for a quick proffit?

I wasn't sure exactly when the auction was but that sales thread suggested that it had already taken place. Not a big surprise that some folk are trying to make a quick buck.

I just wish I had bought the mint webley premier that was there
Still, very pleased with the tracker. The "common" guns were going for good prices

Any ideas on what sort of price the MKIII's were going for, particularly the Supertargets?

The framed Phillip Webley Indenture paper went for £750.
The William Davis Business card went for £320.
The Webley Boyle Pneumatic went for £5K.
The Mercury Double Cock pistol went for £3K.
The tatty Webley Spares Box went for £240.
The really rough Double Spring Clip Mk.1 Pistol relic went for £520.
The Prototype Hurricane went for £1,050.
All these prices are + buyers premium including VAT of %17.62
There should be a full list of prices realised available from Wallis & Wallis in the near future, but I should have a few more details after I have spoken to John Atkins this evening.

I'd blown all my money (and more) before the accessories and pistols sections began, so gathered up my booty and left...

    I hate you

Would have liked to go myself but as long as people don't post what wonderful cheap bargains they had I should be able to keep my envy to a minimum.

So all in all a nice birthday?

Yes mate - my good lady (who hates guns ) booked a swish country hotel for us to stay in where we had a great meal (but the PRICE OMG! ). The journey was a pain though as we got caught in a torrential downpour in the Brighton to Southampton evening rush hour...
Got back lunchtime today and have now unwrapped my new toys. I won't say any more as you will hate me even more...
