She heard a zipping noise come past her head an bang hit the window, he says only 2 upstairs windows were open from the direction it came form.

I hope the incident was reported to Police and that the possible culprit houses were marked out to them if only for future reference. I would also write up the incident myself and send a report in to Police so that it is "on record".

Cheers boys , i think it was a random potshot and my bro reckons its come from 1 of 3 houses by the way it came past her.
