All indistinguishable (1/4"-1/2" at 45 yards)

    Career barreled pro-target
Mk3s (C) - might just have the edge
Bog standard s400 on the flat curve
    Career barreled reged Rapid mk1
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

HI Vinny. I don't think EV's are all that good straight out of the box. The one I have I bought from Matt on here. Apparently it made a few trips back to AA to be sorted and was finally set up by Nick Murphy. I have free floated the barrel and fitted a UK Neil MFC. Needless to say it is now marvellous.
I have found it is fussy about how clean the barrel is and I can't decide whether it likes lubed Mozzies or unlubed. The major thing thats good about the EV is the balance. My standing shots have improved massively since I've been shooting it. You can balance it on your forward hand and just touch the trigger without gripping the gun. Its helped me a lot.

Feinwekbau P70 without a doubt. I have put 5 pellets through one hole at 25 yards that an unfired pellet wouldn't fall through with one. In standard ally stock though they are very awkward to handle. So I fitted one into a Paul Wilson Protarget stock. Still couldn't get on with it so it went. Now the best handling and all round useable is a Steyr LG 100

Putting 5 pellets through the same hole at 50 - 55 yards is what i call accurate

I managed a 1 hole group today with my HW77 at 55 yards, out of 10 pellets 7 formed the one (quite large and ragged) hole, the rest gave a 1.5" grouping.

Not bad for a 20 year old rifle.

Sadly this was better groups than i was getting at 34 yards
