    Question Webly FX2000 - uprating ?

I have a mate who recently bought a brand new FX2000 in .22 calibre.

Not knowing where to get the rifles cheaply, and having plenty of wedge, he walked into a shop and bought what they pointed him at. No probs as the gun and him seem to be doing the job.

He's on the point of getting an FAC now, and I think it would be better for him to uprate his current rifle. If he sold it on he'd loose a packet, plus he'd have to buy another rifle, and lose even more money. He's happy with it, so it makes sense to have the current rifle uprated.

I'm expecting a proper "factory" type change for somewhere between £50-£100.

    Any advice?

Best place for good job? Preferably local to London, but any suggestions welcome.

BT does FX stuff doesn't he ? They are very simple to work with though, so the charges from any competent airgunsmith should be minimal.

Should be nice in the mid 20s with AAs
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Thanks for the replies everyone. The capabilities of this rifle are obviously a well kept secret.

I'm about to uprate an Excalibre to fill a slot on my ticket. I'm very interested in what is possible.
No darling, Schopenhauer did not quite mean that.

Mindful of your location, whatever you do, don't take it to 'A Different Calibre'.

Okay to buy stuff from, but wouldn't want them doing any work on anything I owned.
