Throw away all the overly dense wadding inside - improved things.

They make great "cases" from which to build your own mods though
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

unscrew one end (it doesn't matter which), remove innards, remove wadding from innards, replace innards 'sans wadding', job done

PS How many 'n's in 'innards' ?

Yes I think even I with me limited practical engineering skills could manage that,I ment the making of a new silencer using the BBMF casing

    LOL it's late

Just make different baffle arrangements / trypes / open wadding. Turning a chunck of material off the 1/2" UNF threaded bit to increase internal volume and reduce weight helps too...

I must have been lucky and got a good 'un damn all difference between it and a new type Weihrauch, except the finish on the BBMF is a better match for the blueing on my Raider.
