Sorry Herman, I don't think there are many people in the UK who have any experience of the Maccari kits, for two reasons:-
    1. we have a number of UK based companies who provide tuning kits
    2. in the UK we are limited to a maximum of 12 ft-lbs, so many of the US kits are illegal over here.

Have you looked on the yellow forum? www.network54.com/Forum/79537

    Good Luck

Thanks for that info.Still,I have read a few posts about those maccari kits and some people have what you call FACs.So if anyone that has experience with one of the kits please tell me.And if you have experience with his FT kit(12fpe)than please tell me also.

And what other tuning companies are available?

I prefer maccari but just to look around.

Ask Electric Sheep, he's well into his Maccari FAC kits
I play a Fender bass, I shoot a springer. I like things to be, well, dependable

I've installed a Maccari 77-97 FT kit into my HW77K .22 (which is internally the same as a HW97K) in combination with an Apex seal, also from Maccari.

I am very very very hapily surprised about the result. I thought the gun was good before, but now it is so much better

    Well worth the money.....

    Hi,

Got email from jim maccari today about wich tuning kit is better for the fac hw97k.

He sayed that the hornet is the best one because it gives more power and doesnt make the rifle harsh. Thanks to everyone that helped. But I guess the hornet is good for me because I also explained that im new to tuning airguns an he sayed the hornet is easy to fit.

Now,can anybody tell me were to find a diagram to fit one of these kits.

Not specific to the Maccari kit, but here's a good description of a stripdown.
