Ian/Martin, if you are REALLY unlucky.........Young_Gun may turn up to help you start the fires!!
Is pay on the day(for him), ok if he decides to get the Hornet out of semi retirement?

    Hi Roy,
As you know, Young Gun is more than welcome. This year we have put Fire breaks in (with the help of the Forestry Commission). We also have a water carrying helicopter on standby.

Farnworth Firestation is just down the road, and we have contacts there.

martin DONT TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY. your in a no win situation. overexposure and no one reads the posts and gets ****ed off hearing about it or you dont post and still no one sees it.
ill post another thread on our website to keep interest going.

once again - DONT TAKE THIS AS SLAGGING ANYONE OFF - GOOD LUCK ON THE DAY.

Good support from the T.V members and a very welcome donation from the members at PARC.

There are a lot of local clubs in this area Oldham, Duckinfield, Nortex Mill etc how many will be supporting Derian House Childrens Hospice on sunday?

Hows about I show Roy how to light fire 'by friction', that'll keep him out of our hair for a good hour or so
