    LG 110 Charging

I'm tantalizingly close to having saved enough money to get a LG, just waiting on the sale of one of my kidneys and was just wondering, the LG comes with a 232 bar charging adapter, will I be able to use this on my 300 bar bottle or will I have to get a specific 300 bar charging adapter?

    Cheers

There are a few ways you can resolve the filling problem.

    1. Drill the 232 bar adaptor 1/8" BSP and fit a QR fitting.

    2. Use a thick rubber washer with the 232 bar adaptor.

    3. Get a 300 bar/Steyr thread adaptor made.

My solution was the middle adaptor HERE.

Lee I'm getting the High Power precisely because I didn't want a meccano set I have a cunning plan to reflect the sun of the stock to dazzel the opposition at the next club comp

Looks like I'll have to get my 232 bar bottle serviced for now. I'll consider the quickn fill mod later.

    Cheers

Had my first go of an LG110 HP this week. Very nice.

A friend has bought one and he too has encountered the 300 BAR bottle issue. We were advised that Midland Diving can supply an adapter that screws into the 300 BAR fitting and presents a 232 BAR fitting for the Steyr adapter. He has ordered one and I think it was about £25 posted.

    Din to 1/8inch (best solution)

Just buy a Din to 1/8inch Adaptor from http://www.airgunbuyer.com/Showprodu...20For%20Rifles

Then scrwe the one that comes with the steyr in and then to your bottle. Jobs a good un and all for £15.

    Cheers That seems simple enough.
One thing I noticed on the Steyr is that the transfer port is exposed when the breech is open, is there any danger of water (rain) or grit getting into it ?

harry preston is supplying one peice adapters for 300 bar fills.

shimming or using a washer is unsafe...the reason the 300 bar adapter has more threads is for safety.

    Hi

When I had my LG100 HP I did not have any problem with dirt/grit, I just made sure my hands were clean before handling the pellets.

From your past record Lee you will be the last person I'd allow to touch it, I may let you look at it if you lock yourself in your car with all the windows up and park in Paddock Wood high street. Even then I'd be a bit nervous

As for your Nazi meccano set.....It's only a matter of time

I made a small brass spacer with an 'o'ring in one of the faces for a chap in our club to fill his LG from a 300 bar bottle. If you need one, I'm sure I could get the measurements from it at the next shoot.
