how did this guy get a gun?????

got this email from my brother last night..... hes a head and neck dr in a hospital on the outskirts of manchester. this is just one of the nut job patients he got!

Hey bro, hope finger not fallen off yet. Classic gun story for you. You know i'm always saying how my wards always full off complete retards, well check this guy out. Attended A&E on saturday night with about 4 inch long grooves in his cheek apparently handcuffed to the biggest mofo of a copper you've ever seen. On questioning said superstar it is revealed that he has recently tried to commit suicide with a double barrel shotgun, but as you know, due to the excessive length of the barrel you cant pull the trigger with your finger so this muppet tried using his foot. Best bit apparently, was when my consultant (who is almost as sarky as you) turned up and came out with two classics:

1."Another half inch to the left and you'd have missed altogether!!"

    Which was surpassed by:

2."You should have taken your shoe off and used your big toe, its much easier than doing it with your shoes on" only for said massive f*** off copper to then come out with, "Thanks for that, the daft prick won't tell us where he's put the gun and the other barrels still loaded!"

To make matters worse, when he rang the on-call shrink to get the guy sectioned, the empty head replied "He missed, so he couldn't have been that serious about killing himself in the first place!"

How serious do you have to be? Personally i think its a bit late if your heads in bits in a bucket!!!

motoX guy who went 100 feet off the edge of a quarry... only broke his jaw because he kneed it when he landed on his feet (yep, somehow didn't break his legs!)

explain 'untold stories of the er' and those kind of programs on tv all the time.

no name, description was mentioned so there aint a problem or breach of trust. (unless you know said moron who tried to shoot himself with his shoes on?!) its more like a case study!

I don't think he WAS too confident. That seems to have been his problem

Beleive it or not he may have been a normal person when he got his shot gun licence, but now may have hit a bad time in his life and become very despressed.

Where i fish now, linford lakes, the fishery mananger who was very well respected commited suicide a fews ago after hearing that on his fathers death that his father was not his farther and that in the will he was left nothing and told that his 'father' did not love, want or like him.

Moral of storey is don't make judgements untill you know all the facts, he may have legally own gun, the fact that he did not remove his shoe just shows how unstable he his....

That or he did not legally own gun and is a bit dim.

from the description of his 'type' when i spoke to my bro..... I think the latter is more favourable. after all, why else would he have been escorted in by the police if it was legally owned!

As is endangering life with a firearm, legal or otherwise and including your own life.

That law was repealed in 1961, though assisting someone else's suicide is a different matter, and a currently contentious issue.
