    FT type resetting target supplier?

I am after knock down and resetting targets - like these from nockover.

    http://www.nockover-targets.co.uk/ft..._squirrel.html

Does anyone know someone who can supply these at a discount as this little lot would be well over £130 and it is only for my own personal range at my family place during the summer. I don't care about brand name as they will not get heavy use and they are only used for 2 weeks each year.

Dont use the cheap copies by Gamo or other companies they were used in a HFT event earlier this year which resulted in numerous stoppages. Nockover are more expensive but you pay for quality.

Several of our clubs here in swefta have been using gamo targets for several years with NO problems.

Although compared to the Knockover made targets they are NOT as well made.

If you speak to Derek at Knockover he may give you a small discount.

    Regards

Be aware that Gamo targets are cheap(huh!) Chinese copies of the Knockover targets, as usual the Chinese are flooding the uk with cheap rubbish, it takes 4.5fpe to knockover a Gamo and 1.5 FPE to knockover a British made Knockover target. To make the Gamo target better it has to be fettled and not a lot of people have that skill.

For the sake of a couple of pounds I would opt for the Knockover targets every time secure in the fact that it will last a lifetime.

Thanks guys - will try and give them a ring on Mon.
I see that they sell them on an auction site for about £16 and £5-£8 postage. If I could get a reasonable deal, I would probably buy all 5 different types/species of them!

I'd agree with the guys re. the Nockovers. Our club bought 60 of them 6 years ago, and we've not had a problem yet with any of them.

    Buy British. Buy Quality.

If it's just a practise range, can you not use spinners instead ? Much cheaper and nothing to go wrong
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. But not lathes. I have too many lathes. Thanks, JB.

I do have a few different ones at the moment - 2 cord resetting ones and a few spinners. Just fancy the idea of a few that are resettable with the second shot!

I must agree that quality will allways prove itself in the end.

But the difference between the heavy use at club level as apposed to the back garden. Dose the use warrent the extra expense?

AA have some listed. Does anyone know their prices.?

    Scroll down.

I have had specials made by Derek at Nockover, these are screwed onto a base (Base fitted by me) so they can be put out on hard ground.

Thanks guys - those specials seem now to be the "new" targets in my link in the first post!

It's a balance between good working kit and longevity. They will only be getting very light use - compared to a club target. But I will ring nockover on Mon. The air arms ones look interesting as well -(although their web site leaves out a lot of detail).
