Sharp Innova, maximum power for minimum pumps?

Any of you guys know about adjusting the stroke to get maximum power(12 ft/lb) for the minimum number of pumps?

I belive someone did a conversion some years ago to get maximum power on four pumps???

    Any help appreciated.

Hi Marcus, varies from gun to gun, some guns in .22 can take 8 or more pumps to get full power, and more pumps again if its a .177.

most innova`s that i came across, most seem to be 4 pumps and the odd one went to five.(maybe only partly to five)
i think that depends on the blow off valve setting.

IMO the full range of Sharps rifles were/are excellent guns well in advance of their years. Its just a pity their development stopped.
