    Section 5 = Prohibited weapons. There is a licence available but you ain't gonna get it.

    3ft/ib plastic BB gun if full auto or burst fire is Prohibited unless a section 5 licence is obtained from the Home Sectretary who must sign it.

    Section 5 licences are held almost exclusively by international arms dealers, gunsmiths with military or police clients, auction houses, UK based military manufacturers and unusually TNT the freight company to move them all around.

    The chances of gaining a Section 5 ticket for plinking in your garden with a plastic russian machine gun are zero. Although if you did get one you could buy an UZI, RPG and Semi or Full auto .50 rifle.

    I think Sam is the only man on the board with such a permit.

    Regards

    Thanks for clarifying that point. I always wondered why some bright spark had'nt invented a auto PCP...

    And if you've owned a Crosman 600, a Drulov DU-10 or an Aeron Brno B-96 since 1997 that would be Section 5...

    Waitaminit! Haven't I seen those traded on here? <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_confused.gif" alt="Confused" width="15" height="22"><!--graemlin:-->

    You can have fully auto guns without a section 5 as long as the mussel energy is less than 1.38 joules (i.e. a toy)

    Go to http://www.airsoftarmoury.com/ for a go

    Yep thats how you can get full auto airsoft guns.

    A couple of other questions from me.

    Are semi-automatic rifles allowed if not then how come the co2 ones are?

    Also why is a loaded mag not allowed??

    Which is sufficient to have them prohibited under Section 5.

    Also interesting IMO is the redesigned MP-514K, though it looks like only a drawing, and the mention of the MP-514KM with a little more power.
