Stu, if it's a mk3 it will have a power adjusting screw at the rear (if my memory serves me right) mk2's may have had this too.
If it's a mk1 that hasn't been upgraded to mk3 spec (many have been) then I think it has to come apart to adjust the power.
Nick Murphy did a fine job of sorting my GC2 some time ago, shame I no longer own it

Tried to find it and still trying. There is a small grub screw accessed through the first push button after releasing the side lock screw.You can then do adjustments . If you pm me with your address I could send you a copy of my "manual", or sportsmatch coul give you a copy? HERX77
