Take no notice, Stu.

Hi guys had a PM off a lad on this site about one of my photos. Its me shooting on land that is owned by a pig farmer. It is on the riverside and fenced off to the public. This guy has just slated me for shooting next to road and public right of way..I just want to say to people who think they can comment on things they dont know about. The land IS by a river BUT is fenced off to the public its 100 yards+ away from any form of right of way and 1/2 a mile away from any road.I have been shooting on this land for over 2 years and have never had any problems!!

i shoot on that land, its safe and well from the public. This dick should get his fact first before quoting laws.
The "shooting near a road" thing has been covered a lot on here recently and from the info you posted Stu, you are all above board and legal. If the guy who PM'd you thinks he is right, then he should come on here and give his reasons.
Otherwise, just ignore it mate.

AA S200, 6-24X50

Just for the record, technically the photograph is VERY good.
From the shooting POV, I doubt I'd be resting a stock directly on bark ...

To be good, one must do good.
there is no need to justify your self on here mate just pm him back and tell him to **** off
That will teach you from posting pictures of Your Shoot...
And joy's of having a Open Board which anyone
Can read or reply to
Does make you wonder how much time some people have on the Hands
Would even bet that they replied during works time or via a Tax payers
supplied terminal

the photo was taken by me, thats how i know the land is ok, been shooting on that land since i was 11yrs old.
Thanx for all the support lads,Just wish people would shut up till they have the full SP on things they know nowt about..Enjoy my photos as i enjoy shooting and getting them taken..Its hard enough to find land to shoot on in the first place,And then you get people slagging you off doing what you love to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice piccy, that BW one.
And there's nothing wrong with shooting near a public road/right of way anyway, if you're not actually on it. As spelt out it's the disturbing of a passer by which makes shooting within 50ft of the centre of the highway illegal.
Anyway, what struck me was how come you happened to have a pro photographer accompany you shooting ? !!
