opinions please,

been thinking of one of these, Nikko Sterling night eater 4-12x56.

but i am not sure,

the problem being my wtc is so good but i just fancy a swap.

(been let down by a bloke in Southampton.) well he changed his mind.

are they any good, would it be OK on a centre fire , .223 rifle.

i can't seem to find any good pictures of the scope. so just wanted to know a few things etc,

i got a nikko 3 9 x42 tactical ir on a rimmy its a good scope
i would imagine the nighteater is pretty good

i have a WTC 6.5/20 x50, been around a bit few marks here and there, but no damage to the tube etc. but its top drawer optics make me think i should keep it.

but i have wanted a change for some time, and i really wanted to swap it for another scope.

so when one of the bbs members put one up for swaps i tarted to look around, and i fancy one now.

I use a nikko Stirling gold crown 4/12x50 on my 17hmr and find it to be a nice scope.

well i will just have to see if i can get some more info on the night eater,

Can't help with the night eater,but the 3-12x52 diamond on my old s10 was nice.

Don't bother Nikko Sterling scopes are total tat! Stick with the WTC

I have an NS 4-12x56 sitting in my must sell drawer.Good in their day but supersceded by almost all the newer scopes especially 30mm tubes.
