Hi Mick,
I have a Super10 as well.
However it might just be the way things are. I find it louder than my Sako .22LR as well.

I've tried the HW silencer on my S10 carbine - it is very, very quiet, much quieter than both BSA and Parker Hale.
You will need a 1/2 inch UNF adaptor for your gun though - unless of course your barrel has been screw-cut (like mine )
Paul.
i agree with Paul, weihrauch silencer works very well on s10 ive got two of them mk2 rifle and mk3k sporter {lightweight reg, barrel threaded and Bowketted ,.......Bren
Sounds like Wiehrauch is the way to go mate.
.177" Harrier X, Hydrographically dipped with custom FT Stock. .22" S410k BTAS with walnut thumbhole stock. .223 Tikka T3 Stainless Lite. CZ Varmint 17hmr. Browning and Baikal O/U 12g.
I'm selling on behalf on Jim Edge one of his silencers for a S10, it's for a 0.177 and does not need the barrel threading. It has the graphite grey shrink on finish, easy to replace when it gets scratched.
I have one on my S10 it goes -
click (hammer on valve) then nothing then click of pellet on Target.
Let me know it interesed Ora
PS BAR sell Jims for the HW 100

The Pheonix Carbine Silencer offers great sound Reduction
We had made adapters that can slip and lock onto Barrels of BSA's
And AA's
I have one on my BSA Scorpion , which has a standard 1/2 UNF Male
Really does make a difference
