    Can rabbits...

...co-exist with Badgers? Like, within a few feet/close promixatey/same field etc?

I was out yesterday where usually the place would be heaving with them, but I didn't see anything, except two badgers digging underneath a hedgerow. Was quite a nice sight to be honest, I'd only seen one badger before and that was a hundred yards away.

Oh and I also saw four hares but that's irrelevant.

Well I'd put all plans of forming a dating agency on hold just to be on the safe side.

Most definately. I do a lot of NV rimfire shooting, one farm has 7-8 sets and nearby the rabbits feed.

Watching the youngster badgers playing is a treat, the adults know you are there, they sniff and bob their heads up and down trying to sense what it is that is watching them.

Ah ok, it was a treat watching these two. They were digging in the hedge, and I bent down to see what was making the bushes rustle. They looked at me, looked at each other, and then ran underground. It's nice to see them around.

Yes, but badgers will also dig up baby bunnies and eat them...

The badgers were around where a large warren is, so maybe they were raiding it for babies. I think the main set for the badgers is in the middle of the field, a good three hundred yards away.
