dont no if it helps you at all but i had a cometa 300 and it was solid as a rock. so much so that as a second rifle now i have a cometa 220. wouldnt hesitate to buy one
Out of interest, out of the 3 Spanish makes, which one would you say has the best build quality and accuracy? I have owned a Gamo Hunter 440 and although it was accurate and powerful, I didn't much care for the build quality, the action, when placed in the stock was slightly off center, meaning that when cocking, the breech caught on the wood, marking it. (The Breech)
I am thinking of buying a break barrel 5.5 (.22) and as I live in Spain, the Spanish makes are comparatively cheap. I actually would like a BSA Lightning XL as it's short, lightweight and pointable with a built-in silencer, looking on the net, a Cometa Phoenix 400 looks a similar rifle, or maybe a Marvic gold from Norica? I don't know, anybody out there with knowledge of these rifles?
Thanks
Nige

I bought my Dad a Cometa Fenix 400 for Xmas. V happy with it despite plastic trigger! Personally I would prefer it to the BSA.
Just out of interest, how much does a Cometa Indian pistol sell for out there?
Cheers

No-one experienced a Norica then?
