What a shame, one of the finest springers in the world, being killed off by the PCP boom, are we seeing the begining of the end for springers? <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
Just got word that the US importer was told the PE's are going the way of the Dodo. Glad I snagged one back in '98. I wonder what the final [production numbers are? Russ

I don't think its the end for springers. I think the main probs with the Pro-Elite were that it had to contend with the pro-sport and TX series, also a bit of a pig at 12 ft/lbs (lock time and felt recoil) without a fair bit of work. Very much liked overseas where there are not the power restrictions, and shoots best somewhere around 20 ft/lbs - where it weas designed to run.
