    Webley Service

I've always wanted a shootable one of these, and wondered what sort of money they were?

Not too bothered about special variants etc. Help/guidance much appreciated!

£300.00 will get you a clean, working example. They are superbly engineered pieces of British Airgun history. A pleasure to shoot as well. An add in the wanted section should bring results.
Mike Bridgewwod (NortonAMC on the BBS) had a few for sale a short while back...

I've always fancied one as well, but a bit expensive for a rifle you can't fit a scope on! Very compact and powerful (for the size) and an elegant design. I think you can still get spare parts for them as well....

Variants of the Webley Service Mk.2, are, first second and third patterns, the third being the most common as only 1000 each were made of the first and second pattern.
The third pattern is available in .177, .22 & .25 calibres.
As Graham has said, £300 should get you a good working example, but you can expect to pay considerably more for one in really good cosmetic condition, although the occasional bargain does appear but not so often these days.
One of my all time favourite rifles.
