    When Do You Re-Charge

    Do you re-charge your PCP after a shoot and leave it standing full. Or do you leave it with low pressure and re-charge before you go on the next shoot?

    there should always be air in your gun to keep all seals in condition, i like to store mine at least 1/2 full or 1/2 empty whichever way you look at it just in case

    always re/charge.that way its always ready to go at the drop of hat. plus you get early warning of any air problems before you go out again.

    I always re-charge my gun when it runs out of air <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Seriously, I agree with mark on storing but whilst using, once I have figured out the optium fill pressure I never let em drop below 100bar, there is a reason for it but I can't for the life of me remember why? can some one else help??

    I generally tend to charge up a PCP before i use it, this is mostly because i use a pump for re-charging my PCPS and therefore i do not exactly look forward to charging a PCP up.

    Standard fill PCPS will have at least 50 bar left in them, generally 100 bar once you have finished shooting all of the usefull shots. So to keep the seals in good order you wouldn't have to recharge it up to full 200 BAR or lower.

    That's naughty, you are using energy that is required to digest the food <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> Do it 1/2 hour before work up the appetite. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    I always re-charge mine before I put it away after drying it out and wiping it down when I return from a trip. Then I check it before I take it out next trip. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Just the same way that I always obey speed limits, and that I never run out of anything in the kitchen. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    I always make sure at least 1200 psi is in the gun if I don't plan on using it right away-- though they tend to sit around with more than that in them. RB
