I've got the full lenght version and I dont see how you would be able to fit a sling at all to any version of this rifle,I might be wrong maybe there's someone who can help?.
Evening all
Trying to work out where to fit some studs for a sling to a career 707 carbine. The rear of the stock shouldnt be a problem as theres none of the internals in it etc. but the little bit of front wood looks to thin and the barrel/cylinders are an odd shape so im not sure where to fix them.
anyone done this? suggestions please
Rhys

only way i can think of is by putting a larger chunk of wood on the front

I wouldn't attempt to put anything into the foregrip. The woods pretty thin and i can't see a swivel screw holding for very long.
There was someone on here who fashioned a clip which clamped over the cylinders. Can't remember who it was but i'm sure if you search all Career threads, you'll find it.
you can buy a QD stud that replaces the screw that holds the forestock on, my mate gave me his from his career for my sumatra with i recently sold. try chambers they have a selection of studs other than the self tapping type.
Bugger! Wish I'd known that these were available before......Originally Posted by sharkey29
Anyway, Keef made me a very nice clamp which fits around both air cylinders and barrel (the barrel still floats) and has a QD stud on the base. I can thoroughly recommend it as a stable base for a sling or bipod. Not as elegant as the the stud mentioned above though Must have a look at my Career later.
