As long as you remember to take the Stealths charging adapter then I don't see why not. I guess it depends on the dive shop. A mate of mine used to do it the very same way a couple of years back.
Paul.
Since the pump that I used to pump my Stealth 2000 up with broke, I was wondering if it was possible to charge up the bottle by simply going to a dive shop (there is one very locally) and asking them to fill it. It holds 500 shots and as I don't use it that often I never intend to buy my own large bottle.
advice greatly appreciated

providing you dont get a jobs worth who thinks the bottle needs pressure testing etc!
Could raise an interesting point.Originally Posted by deztroyer
I was under the impression that if the botttle was below .5 litre you didn't require a test.
I think the Stealth bottle is .8 litre. Does it require a test?

Aware of several Shooters who went to Dive Centres
Most did fill them
But charge them normal bottle filling Rate for the trouble of connecting it to their system
BOB/R
any dive shop place in essex that do charging just the bottle
The point is to have fun
