    Daystate harrier x2

Just a quick question to all you daystate owners out there.

Could you give me any good tips on modifications for my new daystate when it arrives?

I am fitting a synthetic stock as I spend most of my time in the field and don't want to get the thumbhole walnut damaged.
I think I will approach 'the man' Mr u.k.niel for one of his air stripper/mod combo's.

I like the idea of having the barrel polished, any opinions?

I'm just after idea's on how to 'bling' up my rifle.
so any suggestions would be welcome. and pics maybe?
I know there are some really nice examples out there so come on guys, what have you got?
    Cheers

You say you spend most of your time in the field, so why polish the barrel surely its better in matt black.

It does seem to be a contradiction of sense.

That is a good point i suppose, but I have made a loose fitting camo (Gillie) style sleeve to fit over the gun whilst out hunting.
I have used this to good effect on my cometa, It gives a 'dipped' look and breaks up the outline of the gun.
The look of the rifle is just personal taste i suppose?

I hadn't coincided that, it is a good reason not to.
    just as well I asked
The cover is only for hunting, Its not a permanent fixture.
    Just camouflage.

doesn't seem to be too much of a problem, wanting a rifle that looks good but covering for hunting. What if he only has one rifle but wants to use it for many purposes?.
I don't want to sound opinionated though.

theres a difference between a nice polished stock and a highly polished barrel shroud/cylinder etc
