Gotta be glass with class- a Zeiss 3-9x36 Diavari. Don't think they make them these days, but if you can pry one from the owners hands? HERX77
Just got a lovely Lazahunter (full monty 97K) and I want a scope for it that is pleasing to my eye, this basically means not hugely long and definately gloss black.
It also needs good optics - so at the least Jap glass.
Mag say, up to 12 or 14 - I like to shoot a mix of HFT & SFT style.
I also want PA, and a price of say £300 and it doesn't have to be new.
Any suggestions / offers / ideas?
I play a Fender bass, I shoot a springer. I like things to be, well, dependable

Hi Dave, yes, one of those is quite high on my 'must look at list', I take it you have (had - this is Davestate, after all ) one then?
Any idea what a Zeiss will go for Herx?
The Lazahunter feels very different to my other 77 / 97's to use, the recoil is quite sharp but very quickly over and seems very manageable. It seems to throw the muzzle by the tiniest of amounts. I am very impressed indeed .
