does where you come from affect your shooting abilities? do Women really shoot better then Men?
or is that a load of rubbish? I have my own reservations! But I'll wait for a bit before I post may opinion?

According to a friend who spent some years working in Africa, it took quite some effort convincing many people down there that just pulling the trigger harder does not make the rifle or pistol more accurate. The best accounts have it that shooters are MADE, not born. That, to me, does NOT explain, three women that I know, the first is my mother, the second my wife and the third, a Geordie girl in the WRAF. ALL three had NEVER handled a gun in their LIVES, prior to their 18th birthdays. YET mu mother, in W.W.II was spoting for anti-aircraft guns and the NAZI's coped a packet from her battery. She also proved to be a dead shot with a Lee Enfield 303 MkIv <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:
As for the Geordie WRAF Lass, she was invited by our Staff Sargeant to come along to the Ranges in 1971. He showed her the ropes, whilst we watched on. Some of the lads made a joke of it, even saying it would be safer in front of her rather than behind. She took 5 sighting shots at 200 yards with the SLR 7.62. Then proceeded to hit 20 straight dead centre shots. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:
Now my missus is just as deadly, took her twenty minutes to learn how to load, aim and shoot an Air Rifle. Kneeling, standing, sitting or prone, she can out shoot me and I've been shooting for the best part of 50 years. Five years down the road from then and she shoots as IF she's been at for 50 years and learnt MORE! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:

Both my daughters can out shoot me without trying. I've used every sneaky trick in the book to no avail. First time out, and with a Paul Wilson stocked Pro Target that was far too big for her, my eldest beat me and the two guys I was shooting round with at Pontefract.
