    what do you prefer

    i think i prefer the stalking because it all comes down to field craft, and how close can you get, but some times i wonder if i'd get more quarry if i staked out. ?

    Bit of both as it depends on what I fell like doing at the time.
    Sometimes the circumstances will make the choice an easy one, magpies all over a sheep carcass then stake it out.

    I generaly stalk first then if i've got a bunny split it open leave it for all to see and stake out in a bush and see if anything takes an intrest
