you could try knocking on farmers doors and await the knock backs, but then you might get lucky and one says yes.(should think most of herts is covered by now)
if you manage to do a good job on the first bit of land other bits will follow.
alot of the trouble round this area (hertfordshire) is there is a lot of tennant farmers and best way to try and get permision on this type of land is through local gamekeeper's.

try the golf courses as there is a load in hertfordshire and some of these will have rabbit problems aswell, find out the head greenkeepers name and ask.

try asking at lea valley club someone there may know of some land or need a shooting partner.

    Persevervance and hard work.

Visits to farmers, letters to farmers. Same to golf courses and any other place that might have a vermin problem. If you get turned down on a visit ask if they know of any one else with a problem.

Visit suppliers of farming equipment, milking parlours, golf equipment and ask them if they know of a place with vermin control problems.

Join an HFT/FT club and speak to members to see if there are any shoots you can share or buy into.

You will probably not succeed initially but you need the perseverance to keep trying.

were they full of 'jackel'isms or the proper versions????

(i will charge the sum of 1 can of cider for every rat slain, 1 greasy chicken kebab, extra chilli sauce for every bunny captured but i must insist that these kebabs look like something youd find in the bin of a family planning clinic....... ETC.)
