No advantage at all that I can see. If you get keen on shooting and join a club you may find that the cost of CO2 becomes an issue.
A quality used springer will give years of service and always be ready to use. You'll be able to pick the brains of members on how to improve it if necessary.
And speak English dammit!!!

sorry about the language use etc.
i think i will try to pick up a second hand bsa when i get the money
upgrading from my B2
my cousin has a rabbitstopper styled co2 and we went through four co2 cartiges in about 30 minuits which is about £2 worth.
so i agree the co2 will become pricey
cheers
there is a second hand bsa lightning xl in the for sales....may be worth a look
indeed, sadly i have not got that cash right this moment but i will soon hopefully
oh well...theres always a bargain to be had on here.
you might be able to get something better than you expected when you do have the money.
Yeah, if you can't afford the high start-up costs of a PCP, a springer definately sounds like the way forward. The only advantage of CO2 is the 'fire-as-fast-as you-can-pull-the-trigger" thing. Having said that, if you buy a decent springer + scope, you'll only ever need 1 shot...
