    Never had a go with any of the others, but the cfx is a great little rifle mate Get a decent scope, AGS Or Simmons 3-9x40 un it'll be great

    will do i shud have a few quid later this month, is it worth fitting a silencer? to say the cfx?

    have a look in the sales section theres a qb79 for sale and its a brillent peice of kit + its tuned with a scope for a amazing 70 quid!!!!

    The cfx already comes with a moderator, but on spring gun, IMO It isnt worth fitting one, they dont do that much to silence it as the noise comes from the action of the spring moving forwards but you wouldn't be able to fit one to a cfx anyway Take that extra money and spend it on a scope

    You'll find it difficult to fit one to the CFX because it's fitted with a large plastic moulding which at first appearance looks like a silencer. It is in fact part of the underlever latch up. To be honest when stood downrange in a safe area of course the CFX is not a noisy gun, or at least mine isn't. Most of the noise from a springer is generated by the mechanics, again my CFX and my buddies Hunter both seem to shoot quietly both have had many pellets through them and are fully run in.
