cant see the pics yet but I have an old airgun world article I could email you showing the cleaning up of an old senior pistol (very similar). They are great little guns and good to work on. Is there a letter on the left side on the trigger guard?
Just bought a webley premier pistol from a car boot sale. Its in a real state. Anyway i'm gonna have a go at cleaning it up and I'd like to know how old it is It has brown bakelite grips and has model number 520 stamped into it if that's any help.

The article would be a great help. thanks. hollowpoint@fsmail.net
There is an L behind the trigger guard on the grip frame.

Are you sure its an L??? Not an E or something? Take a look at mine in the for sales section
Will try and find that article for you mate
EDIT: Ive just found another letter under the rust. Its an F or an E Its identical to the one your selling only in extreamly poor condition.

you can find out the date from this letter, yours sounds like a late one
Ok thanks mate. Assuming its an F what age would that make it roughly?
And one last question There is 2 screws at the front that the barrel pivots on. Are both sections threaded or will the larger part push out like a pin? (hope I explained that well enough)

use a screw driver in both and undo one. One is a long pin,the other screws into the end of the pin. This should do the trick. Good luck!
In regards to the age of an F i will have to check with Hiller but guessing late 60's
Is the longest pin part threaded on the outside or can I tap it out with a punch?
