    Sirocco 2000

    Got on the other day, didn't like the look or the feel of that bull barrel at all.

    Whipped off the silencer, man that barrel is short !!!!! About 7 (SEVEN) inches in length, including the breach block <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Anyways, I put a longer 14" theo barrel on there, looks much nicer, easier to cock, and power went up by 2 FP !!

    I then of course bled the ram to take it back to 12FP, which resulted in even easier cocking and a lower recoil.

    Theoben seem to have over-chopped this one a bit <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Loverly now though <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Yup, 7.5" from end to end John.
    Basicaly the same action as the Fenman, restocked and with a Transport silencer instead of the Evo m8.

    makes you wonder why they do the barrel at 7 1/2",

    Does the longer barrel affect the balance much?

    Tempted to look for a 10" barrel for Fenman.

    Agreed, 10" would be much better IMHO

    Yes, it does pull the balance forward a bit, but the only reason I used 14" is I couldn't be ar5ed to get the current silencer off <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    OK, plus it would be eaier for Di to cock <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    I doub't you'd notice the diff in balacne for 10", but I'd bet you'd stiull gain at least 1Fp power (i.e. you could reduce the recoil and cocking effort a bit)
