Daisy Powerline Rifle help - leaking?

    Hi there,

My friend has a Daisy powerline pump up underlever rifle in .22. I'm not sure of the exact model, but I will post once I have it. It's got the plastic wood effect stock and foregrip, and has a side mounted, push in magazine.

The problem is when it is pumped up you can hear the air leaking from the top of the rifle, below the barrel at the end of the pumping lever. I haven't tried to take it apart yet. I wondered if anyone had had similar problems. Are they expensive to repair? Can the bits be purchased and installed easily?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I overhauled my Powerline recently - I can't remember the precise details as I have 'quite a few' airguns, and have worked on many of them recently. What I do recall is that it was an easy model to work on. I think I just replaced an 'o' ring or two and all was well.
