    Dear Sir Knight,

    I'm not the one with the problem trigger. That would be icarus.

    I'm the one with the problem trigger-finger.

    Generous offer though, thank you. If ever you're near the Galleria, would be very pleased to buy you one of Mattersons expensive, but satisfying cups of coffee.

    It's highly unlikely that your gun will blow up unless you do something extremely silly with it.

    PS Don't listen to anything Pat says. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    pcp cylinders are safe, but they do require regular checks every so often just in case some moisture has got into them and starts to rust from the inside out.
    every 5 years should be good enough if using a diving cylinder to charge up the rifle, and every 2 years if using a pump (i dont trust them there filters on them).
    but perfectly safe to use and abuse.
    kind regards
    phil

    Don't listen to them - it could blow at any second <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Thanks to you all for the sound advice. Shooting will never be the same for me, every time i pull that cocking lever, and depress the trigger !!!!! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Perhaps that would be a better weapon for the army !
    Welsh weather and mud , that would sort out the best rifle designs.
    Fond memories of going into a Liverpool SPORTS shop when I was a student gave the bloke £18 and walked out with a shotgun.No paperwork needed.(Still buy these for £75 new).
    Got back to the college of art and everyone including the lecturer's was interested in the thing.Bunny hunting ok then, even for town dwellers.
    Try that now, just before the 9 mm hits ! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
