    Gen 1 NV

    Hi,
Are there any brands of gen1 to go for over others, and any brands to steer clear of?

    Wadoka,

Are you after a dedicated NV rifle scope or something else?

    Cheers

    Clive,

Matt has personal access to two shooters (or more thinking about it) from Shepreth airgun club who almost never shoot in the day preferring to shoot at night using NV. AFAIK he has my phone numbers. Certainly he has contacted me in the past.

I'm starting to think he's just ramping up his post count, with NV questions.

I think Ben's sorting something out Rob.

I must admit, being a bit of a techie with a penchant for projects, I'm rather temped to adapt a monocular myself and build a mount and use a IR laser as aim point. If it didnt work I'd still have a monocular for scanning.

    Hello

Any chance you can post the recommendations on BBS

I bet theres a few out there, like me, considering using night vision but dont want to make a costly mistake.

I have had a few pointers but there seems such a vast array or manufacturers with very similar looking monoculars it can be very confusing.

    Cheers

I knew it wouldn't be long until you started on the NV Matt . I've got to admit I'm tempted too, thoguh don't know if I could get it past the finance department before I qualify

Didn't want to hijack your thread, so answered your query here. (And a bit more you didn't ask.)
