    Ahh

    Thanks mate.

The first batch of scopes is being supplied with low mounts. The problem is second guessing what the shooter wants - if we supplied high mounts a lot would complain that they were not comfortable. It's a no win situation.

I think we may change to highs on next years production.

Is there much difference in brightness between the 44 and 50 objectives and would a 50 fit ok on a HW97 with regards to the loading port?

I agree its a no win. but if people read this like i do before i buy they should get it right first time.

I use a bushnell elite 4200 and the viper was very clear and a good saving.

    cheers

    viper 4-16x50

I would appreciate it if someone could pm me a price for the 4-16x50 & order details. Will the mounts supplied fit a CZ452 varmint with enough clearance for the objective bell/barrel ?

    Thanks john

I have one of these, I am a fussy old sod and I have found this to be remarkable value for money, I rate the turret system as one of the best I have used, the sidewheel is better than my Nikon, optics are very bright and clear, better than Nikko and on par with Bushnell Legend to my eyes, although eye position is critical at highest mag (as it is on most scopes) but as I only use max mag to look at bullet holes that doesnt worry me

The big problem for me is what gun to put it on, I think .177 air rifle for now as I want to try out that rather nice ret, I will probably eventually put it on a .308 where the holdover ballistic lines would also be rather handy at longer ranges, although as that rifle is stainless I will probably go for the nice blingy silver 3-12 version

Also a very nice looking scope in a Tactical sort of chunky way

    Well done MTC
