how many shots are you getting? the reason i ask is a guy at my club runs his down to the red line on the gauge and hes getting about 120shots a fill.
I have a HW100 with a 3ltr dive bottle. Have been happily using it since new (no fill ups). Its a 300 bar bottle, that I was told when it drops below 200bar, get a refill. At the moment it is at 250, but it only fills the HW100 up to about 180, I therefore seem to be constantly filling it up. I dont really understand this bar business. But my question is.
Is it only filling to 180, cos I need to refill.
If i take the cylinder to a dive shop and they put in 300 bar, will I get more 'usage' than from my local airgun shop?
Thanks in advance.

I haven't run it right down yet. I typically get 50-80 shots, call it a day and then re-fill.
Sorry thats no help is it.
like i say, dave gets about 120 out of his and its still knocking targets over when its under the red line. the problem with your cylinder is that youve got the pressure but not the volume to back it up.some of the tech heads on here have formulas that back this up. a 300 bar bottle fills to 300 bar or there abouts on the first fill but after that the volume of air is less therefore the pressure drops at a given rate so the second fill is much lower. im sure someone will jump on this thread and help explain. im selling my small cylinder and humping a 12ltr 300bar about because of this effect.
