Thread: Esential kit

    Esential kit

Here is a gun stand/ zeroing bench, which I consider to be an esential bit of kit to any gun owner. After trying the plastic fantastic ones that seem to be avalable on the uk market, this is imported by the sportsmans gun center.

Versatile enough with the optional sheep skin vice to take moast gun stocks, secure enough for geting your zero spot on, with enough adjustments to line it up with any target.

    Good investment to anyone imo.

Cant help the neibours cats can we. Dog dont help, sprinkler system dont count, so I supply the unwanted pests with a platform to fish from.

I use a steath device at night, pure black dogs are great fun. The only poroblem now is teaching him that his showdow is not somrthing to be scared off.

Notice both guns are allso obsolete models. The Uberti spoting winchester, a great rifle in its day, great fun to shoot, aand of course the Daystate Mk3 A version, a great gun in its hey day for which many replicas have been made ie the b version and soon to be c version. Not sure what the C stands for, but it must be a hint at what those who brought the earlier models are now known as.

My apologies to daystate who do a good job on all waranty work.

I bought one of these rests back in May this year and it's proved itself to be a top bit of kit, probably one of the most useful gadgets about, well recommended for working on rifles or zeroing.

Best wickes paving slabs I have you know. Like all things from there, you go to a cheap shop and you get CENSORD WORD AREA. Got fed up cuting grass the other year, caused exercise on to regular a basis, still need to cement between the gaps, but exercise needed to do it.

BTW forgot to add the zeroing bench can be picked up for about the £80 mark and that includes the sheep skin vice.

    Lee,

That looks like a top bit of kit, but I can't quite read the labels on it. Can you give a run down on the make/model etc. ?

And while I'm asking, do you have contact details for the "sportsmans gun center" ?

    Cheers

    Ian
