.20 shop

I'm sure I saw that someone on here has opened a shop specialising in .20 rifles 'n stuff. Does anyone have any details on location, website, catalogue etc.

Thanks muchly in advance

Taylor and sons - Ben Taylor of Theoben fame.

He is even rebarrelling TX200's in .20

Apparently he has a range of 15.6 grain .20 lead pellets that are the bees knees.

I must be honest and say that I cannot see the point myself of a nearly 16 grain .20 when the same mass in .22 will travel nearly as flat yet hit harder.

However I am sure that his shop and service are both first class.

I know what you mean Russ about the heavier pellets but I would like to try some lighter ones. Checked on TPC website and there are some pellets in .20 that are less than 10 grains.

Here's the list of .20 pellets from the TPC site.

Ben Taylor & Son Eliminator 15.65g
Bisley Pest Control 12.80g
Bisley Superfield 10.80g
Crossman Accupel/Premier 14.30g
H+N Diablo Barracuda 13.27g
H+N Diablo Pellets 10.19g
H+N Diablo Pellets English 11.11g
H+N Field & Target 11.42g
H+N Field & Target Trophy 11.42g
H+N Hollow Point 9.88g
H+N Match Kugeln 10.19g
H+N Pointed Waisted Pellets 10.96g
H+N Sheridan Pointed Pellets 16.05g
H+N Silhouette Diablo 11.42g
H+N Silver Point 15.59g
Pax Dynamic Dome Head 12.00g
Z&S Diablo Sport English 11.11g

That should keep you busy for a while trying to find best pellet for your gun. Unfortunately most shops will only stock 1 or 2 of these, Ben Taylor's new shop should have good a range though.

Anybody know where it is???

Ben Taylors is in Harston just the other side of the M11 from Cambridge. Whilst he is intending to specialise in .20 rifles etc... He currently doesn't have a large stock of .20 pellets. Just the usuals FTT, superfields etc plus his own Eliminators.

However some news after talking to him last week is a 12.5 grain version of his Eliminator pellet will be available soon.

Regards
Tony

Thanks Tony. I personally don't need a large selection, I just find 1 pellet I like and use it for everthing.

Cos they would slide through my Career 707 .20" and my .20" Ripley XL-9.
