    Actual Targets Shot At!

It is clear to see a drop off on the targets, 10 shots at each. They start to drop at shot 80 where the power begins to drop below 10ftlb. I would say say the advertised 80 shots is about right. Interesting....

Ian - those figures from an unregulated rifle look pretty incredible to me. Can you explain shots six and seven though, which have the same fps but very different ft/lbs - just a typo?

Nice holes in those targets as well. Can I assume that was with AA Field 5.52?

Yeah sorry, I origionally recorded them onto a sheet of paper and typed them into exel (Typo). Something that the combro seemed to do is list fps - ftlb with variatioon. E.g.

    575 - 11.75
    575 - 11.74
    575 - 11.76

I guess it just rounds it to the nearest figure in FPS? The s410k is pretty new (under a year from factory) and is well kept. These were the figures recorded though. Airgun seems pretty consistent I agree.

    Shot

    1-75 RANGE FPS = 22
    1 -75 RANGE FTLB = 0.60

    1-75 - AV FPS = 572.3
    1-75 - AV FTLB = 11.4936

The 410s are all very consistent - mine is, Darren's is (both results posted on the BBS) they are really flat for the first 70 or 80 <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

It rounds down in fps so 575.9 will show as 575.

The first digit on the display can only show 0,1 or 2, so you have to drop below 300fps before it can give you a place of decimals.

You can save yourself a lot of typing if you get the Combro PC interface.
You can paste the data from the Combro s/ware's data file straight onto Excel.

Of course you have to shoot within reach of a PC but if you've got a lap top you can still combine range shooting with chrono stringing.

    That's my excuse for buying a laptop anyway <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
I found shooting off strings indoors didn't give the same results.
    Temperature probably.

I was using AA Field at the garden range <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->. about 100m from my PC. The results took about 2 hours to record with a multi shot airgun. Bring on the S200T single shot, that should be interesting! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

Time to invest in a laptop mate!
    Was that 5.51's or 5.52's?
