How did you manage to convince Brownells to send you that spray ? Brownell refuse to send chemicals abroad.
Has anyone any experience of removing the barrel of an S410 and the Gas chamber ?
I have recieved some metal finish sprays from brownells in america and wanted to finish the barrel and gas chamber in stainless steel.
Obviously I'll empty the chamber completely but is it all easy to take apart following the exploded diagram or am I going to hash it up in a big way ??
I can work with tools without supervision and/or cutting myself <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

If you can get any more of that Brownells spray, especially the bake on moly coating I will be forever in your debt <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
Now someone help this bloke out <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
a while back that a friend I had in america bought me some and was going to post it to me. He did and 6 weeks later it has arrived. (In the meantime he has returned to the UK)
I'm going to test out the sprays and hopefully post pictures of the results on here. If they're good results then we may need to get a contact in america who can buy and ship the product.
Better start being nice to the yanks on this board

I'm going to do a test on a trigger shoe to start with and if this is ok then I'll do the barrel and gas chamber. But not before I fond out how to do it <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
.
For the "I don't read page 2" people <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
gas chamber? do you mean that millions of people went to their death in an air cylinder?
Max,
no idea how to do it, but he was a nice bloke that one in America, really nice <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

How far do you need to dissemble ?
The main elements (action + barrel, cylinder, back block, etc.) all come appart very easily / intuitivley...
