    whats best silencer for a rapid or what do other people use and why??

    AWT on mine because it is sooooooo silent and light weight.

    You can have a few silencers fitted to your rapid,as the other lads say,AWT a light silencer looks the part and is quiet, rob lane is also a good silencer but I dont think he makes them any more,2nd hand you've got more of a chance and then you can have the theoben evo/vortex and send it to uk neil,very quiet and much better internals or get uk neil to make one for you,he'll make a nice looking one at a reasonable price too.
    There you have it,all are as good as each other and all will do a good job shutting these babys up,it'll be up to you to see which one you'd like the look of.To be honest if you've got an evo/vortex then send it to neil to put his own internals in otherwise look at the one's mentioned and make your mind up.

    i have a Rob Lane on mine and it's as quiet as you like. The noisiest part of a rapid is the noise from the hammer which can be quitened with a silent hammer pip.

    like the idear of getting one of my evo/vortex silencer made quieter as i have three that are not used.. is UK NEIL a person on here or a shop out there???
    tryed to do a search on here but no luck..

    silent hammer pip anyone going to explain that one to me...
