thought id have a try at using sound effects to attract the magpies
ive seen magpie callers but am looking for distresed magpie sounds and calls
mp3 wav any format
so i can play to attract them . am i wasting my time or wouldthey work ?

I saw this in an airgun mag last year. The guy found them on the web somewhere and played them in his mobile phone.
A half empty box of matches shaken from side to side quickly is very effective too.

There was a thread about this not too long ago that said using electronic decoy/sound files was illegal. Not too sure though

Not a problem at your end, I've tried it as well.
BTW I got a great magpie call from Decoying UK - Callmaster, 10 different sounds fox, rabbit, hare, magpie, crow etc.
Works really well, but pricey at £165, and only legal for calling foxes or for research and photographic purposes.
i think he wanted the calls for photography/bird watching
