    Seeing as you havn't had any help with your enquiry,heres my tuppenceworth.
    I recently imported a BSA Platinum 6-24x44 mildot from the US,( I don't know if this model is available in the UK ).I am very pleased with the build and the optics.Very bright and focuses down to about 12 yards.I've not tried rangefinding with it yet,but if the quality of the scope is anything to go by, it should be OK.And all for the princely sum of £94,and thats including air mail from the US,Customs duty, and £4 for the good old Royal Mail.

    Thanks...

    Thanks Will.. I was hoping for a better response.. but there you go.. people can be a wee bit fickle sometimes.

    Can't say I have heared of the scope you have got from the US but it sounds a hell of a deal... hope it works well for you

    Regards

    Tommo.

    Is it springer rated? IIRC you shoot a much-modified Vulcan, Tommo.

    Hi Adrian.. it's supposed to be rated for springers.. forgive me but IIRC?.. what's that ( knowing he should know <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_redface.gif" alt="Red Face" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_confused.gif" alt="Confused" width="15" height="22"><!--graemlin:--> )

    The Falcon is amazing Adrian. I have it fitted with a CS1000 stock now that I got off this site.. excellent bargain. It is super steady and gives me single hold groups at up to 40mtr (bench rested) Got some funny looks at the club as they know I hunt a lot, but I like to ambush the buggers so I lie in wait and get them that way - the CS1000 stock + a Harris bipod means the Falcon feels like it's rooted.

    By the way Adrian, I was on the IoM last month. Stayed with my wife in the Sefton - nice hotel. Had a tad too much Okell's.. hehe <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Take care... Tommo

    Contender? Dunno... My Catseye 3-10x44 is spot on. I guess a consensus may be that BSA dont do great glass but what they do is good value.
